Kairosoft has just released their new management game, Grand Prix Story. Although its predecessors, Game Dev Story and Hot Springs Story, were released first for iPhone, this time the game is released on first on the Android platform.
Players of one of the first two games in the series will immediately recognize the graphics style in Grand Prix Story and feel right at home. In Grand Prix Story the player leads a racing team and is in charge of hiring staff and creating and upgrading cars. The game doesn’t really require any knowledge of racing, which makes it an ideal game for everyone to play.
We have tested the game on the HTC Sensation and the new Nokia Lumia 800, we can say that the game is less repetitious than Game Dev Story and the game has also been made a bit more difficult. The first two installments of the series might have seemed a little easy, but at times Grand Prix Story might seem quite hard.
For most fans of Kairosoft’s management games it must be good news that a new game in the series has released. However, we can imagine that iPhone owners feel disappointed as the game has only been released for Android so far. At the time of writing it’s unknown if an iOS version will be made. We assume it will be released for iOS later, since the first two titles were fairly successful. In that case, it will definitely be worth the wait for iPhone owners.
